In our design, we embraced the owner's appreciation for Japanese architecture by studying traditional "minka" houses and reinterpreting their elements in a modern context. This is evident in the building's balconies and architectural projections, which are accented with light vegetation. The design employs a palette of earthy tones, combining cement-based finishes with natural materials like wood cladding on the boundary walls and first-floor balcony. The aim is to create a modern architectural language that reflects ecological awareness, blending the dynamism and tranquility of Japanese aesthetics with the urban fabric of Athens.
